Whaling is a type of cyber attack targeting a company’s senior executives by using high pressure tactics to divulge sensitive information or steal money by wire. Attackers go to great lengths to learn about the executives through their social media accounts or using other attacks to gain enough access to their network to eavesdrop on an executive’s email communications. The RMail® Anti-Whaling feature detects email tactics that scammers use to obtain information by alerting the potential victim prior to forwarding or replying to a suspicious email.
To view the settings, you have two options:
Option 1: From the inbox, press ‘File’, then ‘RMail Settings’.
Option 2: From the feature pop-up, press the ‘Settings’ button.
