Main Benefit
Speeding aircraft processing at terminals.
Southwest Airlines is committed to implement best-in-class business processes that help maintenance and engineering facilities realize a considerable reduction in overall maintenance costs whilst observing regulatory compliance for the likes of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA), the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the Civil Aviation of China (CAAC). As Aircraft owners are required to keep records of all inspections and maintenance required by regulations, as well as any major repairs and alterations, Southwest Airlines implemented RMail Registered Email™ service with e-signatures for a fast, convenient, mobile-based evidence of critical e-signatures and assured e-delivery of communications. RMail helped the airlines automate the complete process of delivering and tracking Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) documentation, while retaining an audit-ready privacy compliance record.
Automation
RMail for Outlook app and specialty sending application automatically routes outbound messages of a certain type via SMTP routing to the RSign global processing networks, sending specially formatted to receive e-signatures on forms; receiving via SMTP the e-sign record and audit trail forensics.
Southwest Airlines is one of the largest airlines with main operations in the United States. We’ve been helping them obtain e-signatures on critical and legally vital operations documents that require instant delivery and rapid e-signoff by multiple parties. We provide them a simple way to improve overall operation.
